Editorial Policy
These standards apply to everything VulnTech News publishes.
Accuracy and sourcing
- Every factual claim is backed by a source we link to, ideally a primary one: an official announcement, a filing, a dataset, published research, or someone with direct knowledge.
- We don’t publish rumors as fact. When we report unconfirmed information, we say so and explain why we consider the source credible.
- Names, numbers, dates and quotes are checked against the original source before publication.
Independence
- Editors decide what we cover. Advertisers and sponsors have no say.
- We disclose when a company lends us a product, pays for travel, or has any other relationship with us that readers should know about.
- We don’t accept payment for coverage.
Labels
Stories are labeled so you know what you’re reading. News reports what happened. Analysis explains why it matters. Opinion is the author’s argument. Explainers and how-to guides are kept up to date. Reviews follow our review process.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help with research, transcription and drafting. A human editor checks the facts and approves every story before it is published, and a named person is accountable for each article. We never present AI-generated images as photographs of real events.
Updates and corrections
When a story changes materially, it shows an “Updated” time. Errors are corrected openly under our corrections policy.
Tips and sources
We protect confidential sources. To share a tip or raise a concern about a story, contact us.
